Comfortably, I reckon you have acknowledged the strange amount of adverts on each and every web site you visit by an ad agency by the name Videodimmer... Guys its a malware, Don't Freak Out, In this post I'll present you the instructions on how to take rid of this Videodimmer malware as well as I'll let you know how you could be safe :)

and trust me, applications like video dimmer, tube dimmer are completely useless and they are potential threat for your data

Follow the below steps to get rid of this threat

Step 1: Removing the application from control panel

It's also a software application just like other softwares.... So you can remove it from control panel.

Follow the flow

Start > Control Panel > add or remove programs

Here find the videodimmer application and uninstall it.

Well, these kind of adware gets installed because of not paying attention while you are installing softwares downloaded over the internet, these types of adware get installed while we will be installing other softwares, these adware would be present with this software (this is termed as Bundling)...

          While installing some softwares which has the adwares (like videodimmer) bundled with them, they prompt you to install that and being too lazy to read the 2 line sentence, you hit 'OK' and this is how it gets installed.

           Easily this is a developer is exactly like the other ad agents who sell ads, but he acts in an unethical manner... Lines will pay him for drinking down their ads by his adware/malware
